My chemo and bone marrow transplant was well over 1.7 million dollars in just over a year. Fortunately, I had insurance. My portion was 300,000 dollars or so. I would have lost everything I owned had it not been for some of the cancer foundations that helped me. I can only guess what she needed, and it would be devastating as well to her parents' financial position.

Today I give as I can afford to those foundations that helped me. There is help out there for families but stories like these which drive home how little things can change a person's life. I am sure that Clints purchase was well within what he could afford, and it was life changing for this little girl.

Charity comes from the heart. You can't force it. This is why government forced stuff always fails.

Eastwood could have easily walked by as he wasn't very noticeable but gave $50,000 for a painting that is now on the wall at his place while he left behind publicity and notoriety that generated a lot more support for the young girl who needed the money very much.

Eastwood has a very large heart. I am glad he used his notoriety to help her. Personal power.... How you use it means things.

I love the message but for some reason I have the feeling that "Storytime Jennifer" makes these up. I looked at her list of videos on YouTube, she comes up with one a day all with the same message. Perhaps I am too cynical.
