LOL...  A general "we haven't a clue" forecast.  Got to love it.  And not one of them has looked to the regions which store heat to see if it is building in our oceans.  These regions are empty of heat.  This means a very weak or no El Niño for the ENSO and then back the La Niña.

I think that NOAA is in for a big surprise when it does not form or is very weak.  The energy loss above the poles is massive and they are ignoring it.

La Niña shows signs of ending. Is El Niño next? (msn.com)

Yeah, the Far west pacific heat pool looks cooler and smaller than usual.

That would be at least partially a result of a Solar shift into bands that doesn't enter the ocean waters as much thus less energy buildup and weaker El-Nino's which means less to no warming trend later on.

Posted this before that it is El-Nino's as primary cause of stepped warming events with little to no warming trend in between which makes clear CO2 isn't driving temperature changes.

SkepticalScience Needs to Update their Escalator

Posted on May 28, 2014 by Bob Tisdale

Excerpt:

The SkepticalScience animation The Escalator has been around for a couple of years, and it has appeared in dozens of their posts and in blog posts by other carbon dioxide-obsessed alarmists. Their intent with The Escalator animation was to show that the instrument temperature record includes many short-term absences of global warming, while, in their minds, manmade greenhouse gases caused the long-term trend of global warming. With Kevin Trenberth now saying strong El Niño events caused global warming to occur in steps, SkepticalScience needs to revise their escalator animation. The steps are not only how skeptics view global warming…one of the leading ENSO and global warming researchers is now presenting global warming in El Niño-caused big jumps, and he also has written in at least two peer-reviewed papers that El Niños are fueled by sunlight.

So here’s my suggested replacement for SkepticalScience’s The Escalator. For lack of a better title, we’ll call it…

Here is todays Sea Surface Temperature anomalies. You will note the primary regions of heat buildup are vacant of heat by almost 6 deg C. What's coming is going to be a whimper if it comes at all.
