The NASA GISS global average temperature anomaly for November 2023 was released (provided below) which shows an El Niño driven value of 1.44 degrees C (2.592 degrees F) with the November outcome hyped in an L A Times article as being “a new monthly record for heat” and the “hottest November”.

This GISS anomaly value represents a November global absolute average temperature of 59.792 degrees F.

Currently writing a post on this.  The midlevel ocean heat energy is now gone. The response to the triple dip cooling was massive.  IF you look at the triple dip and the resulting response by the system in total, I expect about one deg C drop in global temperatures within the year.  As this post notes the cooling is already evidenced in the empirical data.  The "spike" in temperature we saw in August/September is gone and it is rapidly declining.  The evidence that mid=level heat storage is now gone due to the long acting El Niño means we no longer have a heat reserve in our oceans.

This next year is going to be very interesting as cooling becomes undeniable.

Yes!  The phase change of the oceans of the northern hemisphere has happened.  The resulting change in Rosby wave propagation is already apparent across the arctic. In ten years, we will be hitting the bottom of both cycles at the same time. The cooling will be massive across the northern hemisphere..
